Autumn is a beautiful season in Cambridge Valley, a unique vacation destination.

A unique and wonderful experience awaits you any season of the year in and around Saratoga Springs. Our bed and breakfast is nestled in Washington County, a wonderful country setting near Cambridge NY. Stay with us and explore the many towns and villages in the Battenkill Valley.

Spring is maple-sugaring time around the greater Saratoga - Lake George region and who can resist a visit to a sugar house to purchase a bottle of pure maple syrup? You can fish for trout in the world-famous Battenkill, and enjoy whitewater rafting on the Hudson and Sacandaga Rivers. Or head east into Vermont for outlet shopping in Manchester and a visit to the Grandma Moses exhibit at the Bennington Museum.

Enjoy a summertime hike right outside our doorstep, on a hundred acres of rolling hillsides. Nearby localities offer golf, tennis, horseback riding, polo matches and rodeos. Take a scenic drive to Cambridge NY and shop for antiques; enjoy a relaxing cruise around Lake George; savor an evening of theater, opera, ballet or concert music at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Our B&B is also close to the Washington County Fair Grounds! The Adirondack Mountain Park is a short drive away, boasting some of the best hiking trails in the entire country.

At Saratoga National Historical Park, learn about the 18th-century battle that was the turning point of the American Revolution. And of course, the Race Track in Saratoga Springs is the place to be in August.

During Autumn, experience the splendor of mountainsides set aglow by the radiant colors of fall foliage. Pick your own apples at a nearby orchard while you sip a cup of freshly-pressed mulled cider. Tour a winery, attend a jazz weekend, a hot-air balloon festival and an Oktoberfest celebration. Or visit the world's largest garage sale in Warrensburg.

Adirondack wilderness beckons the nature lover, but leave enough time to enjoy a stop at Fort Ticonderoga on Lake Champlain, a Revolutionary War museum.

Wintertime skiing is just 15 minutes away at Willard Mountain, a great place for family fun. Drive a bit farther and you're at some of the best downhill ski areas in the northeast, including Whiteface Mountain, site of the Winter Olympics. Enjoy an evening candlelight house-tour, join a Victorian Street Walk. Try some ice fishing or ice skating. Cross-country ski on our own fields and woodlands. Ask about our special skier's rate!
